Oklahoma! v. UW, 09.13.08

September 14, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford reaches to put the ball across the goal line for a touchdown in the first half of the Sooners’ 55-14 victory over the Huskies.

The latest installment of UW’s season of misery was their loss to Oklahoma on Saturday. I don’t have much to say about the game, other than Washington was overmatched and Oklahoma looked kind of bored.

Initially, I wasn’t really thrilled about the late-ish 4:45 p.m. start, since it meant almost the entire second half would effectively be a night game. It worked out nice, though, since Oklahoma was up 34-0 at half and the game was over, for all intents and purposes. Plus, the light in the first half was *fantastic*; it made even pedestrian photos look almost like Vermeer paintings. On sunny days from late-September on, the roof-overhang-shadow can be completely brutal at Husky Stadium, but for this game, at least, it was really nice.

On to the rest of the photos:
